Englisches Abstract

Editorial summaries based on the published abstracts.

1–28: First data on Odonata of Prey Long Forest in Cambodian Lowland — Oleg E. Kosterin

Surveys of Prey Long Forest in December 2019 and nearby cleared land in June 2018 recorded 60 odonate species. Copera chantaburii and Burmagomphus williamsoni were newly recorded for Cambodia. Cheum Takong swamp forest supported 17 species, including five absent from other surveyed sites, highlighting its distinctive fauna and the need for wet-season surveys.

29–98: Odonata of the great Lake Tonle Sap of Cambodia, as examined in 2017–2019 — Oleg E. Kosterin

Investigations at five northwestern Tonle Sap localities during 2017–2019 documented 41 odonate species from four families. The study describes lake-bank and floodplain habitats, seasonal conditions and species assemblages. Most recorded species are widespread, while Macrogomphus phalantus jayavarman represents a notable population of an otherwise poorly documented species.

99–184: Odonata of Phnom Kulen Mts, Cambodia: a preliminary checklist — Oleg E. Kosterin & Eddie Smith

A preliminary checklist documents 97 odonate species from Cambodia’s isolated Phnom Kulen plateau and its partly remaining evergreen forests. Photographic records and field observations establish a baseline for further investigation. Two taxa are reported for Cambodia for the first time, illustrating the contribution of this forest isolate to the country’s recorded fauna.
