Abstract

Editorial summaries based on the published abstracts and contributions.

1–20: Composition of the dragonfly fauna at different altitudes in Bhutan based on larval samples (Bigyen Rasaily, Vincent J. Kalkman, Om Katel & Cheten Dorji)

Larval sampling before and after the 2020 monsoon examined 30 running-water and ten standing-water sites between 500 and 3,000 metres in two Bhutanese districts. The study compares abundance, diversity and species associations across altitude and season, providing a basis for freshwater biodiversity assessment.

21–74: The distribution, phenology and altitudinal range of dragonflies and damselflies in Bhutan (Bigyen Rasaily, Vincent J. Kalkman, Om Katel & Bhagat Suberi)

Published records are assembled into a database of Bhutanese Odonata. Species accounts summarise geographic occurrence, flight season and elevation, providing a reference for surveys and monitoring of freshwater habitats affected by development and climate change.
