Abstract

Editorial summaries based on the published abstracts and contributions.

1–2: Wolfgang Schneider (10. August 1953 – 17. September 2019) (Martin Schorr)

This German obituary recalls Wolfgang Schneider as an odonatologist, friend and supporter of the IDF. Schorr reflects on their long association, Schneider’s advice and his contribution to cooperation within the dragonfly research community.

3–20: Odonata collected in Napo province, Ecuador, in January of 2020 (Natalia von Ellenrieder, Rosser W. Garrison & Giovanni M. Ramón C.)

A ten-day survey revisited historical collecting areas in Napo province while searching for Argia schneideri. Although that species was not found, 65 species in 36 genera were recorded, including four new provincial records. Specimen scans, field photographs and discussion of the target species’ habitat and distribution accompany the inventory.
