Abstract

Editorial summaries based on the published abstracts and contributions.

1–28: On the Odonata of North Kazakhstan Province. I. First data on Petropavlovsk. (Oleg E. Kosterin)

Two 2015 visits to the Petropavlovsk area recorded 35 species, including the first Kazakh record of Coenagrion ecornutum. Earlier Gomphus and Stylurus records are reassessed, and the local fauna is compared with western Siberian assemblages. Possible breeding habitat of Aeshna viridis is discussed.

29–46: Odonata registered on a short excursion to Kyshtovka District, Novosibirsk Province, Russia (Oleg E. Kosterin)

A four-day excursion recorded 21 species in Kyshtovka District. Particular attention is given to Coenagrion ecornutum and a northerly occurrence of Lestes macrostigma in freshwater roadside pools. The observations broaden understanding of the latter species’ Siberian habitats compared with its better-known European sites.
